Somatic Antiracism Intensive
This 8-week somatic antiracism intensive offers a unique combination of antiracism education and somatic antiracism practice.
Participants will learn a radical, nature-based liberatory framework that grounds their intersectional antiracism work in their bodies. This leading-edge framework gently dismantles the common antiracism mentality of guilt, shame, and penance that holds racism and oppression in place. Participants will begin to cultivate the mindset of expansive and all-encompassing love, with boundaries, modeled by antiracist leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. This mindset is the foundation upon which society-changing antiracism work is built.
Participants will then practice this new, embodied expression of antiracism in our exclusive, arts-based Somatic Liberation practice sessions. This creative space offers gentle, one-on-one facilitation to deepen the connection to the power inherent in each participant to enact change in their world. Participants will leave more confident and grounded in their innate ability to affect change and ready to act boldly for justice.
This intensive will provide unique insights and powerful results for beginner and seasoned antiracists.
